• WORKING TOGETHER
WE WILL MAKE EDUCATION AVAILABLE TO CHILDREN ALL AROUND THE WORLD.

  • STRENGTHEN FINANCE AND DELIVERY MECHANISMS.

Working with governments, the Global Business Coalition for Education, major foundations, and UN partners, we will catalyze new support and ways to deliver education on-the-ground.

  • LAUNCH A “BIG PUSH” INITIATIVE THROUGH 2015, HELPING OUT-OF-SCHOOL CHILDREN FROM POOR-PERFORMING COUNTRIES.

Over two-thirds of out-of-school children are in just ten countries: Nigeria, Democratic Republic of Congo, Pakistan, Afghanistan, China, Ethiopia, India, Bangladesh, Philippines, and Cote d’Ivore. We will work with governments, UN agencies and other stakeholders to make accelerated plans for education.

  • INCREASE FINANCING AND DELIVERY IN COUNTRIES AFFECTED BY CONFLICT AND HUMANITARIAN DISASTER.

We will work with UNOCHA and bilateral donors to unlock financing for countries affected by humanitarian disasters and develop innovative solutions for rebuilding education systems.

  • DEVELOP SCALABLE PLANS AND ACTIONABLE SOLUTIONS FOR BOTTLENECK ISSUES.

Child labor. Child brides. Children with disabilities. We will work with partners to develop scalable solutions to bottleneck issues which keep children out of school.

  • BUILD LADDERS OF OPPORTUNITY AND MAKE GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP A CENTRAL VALUE OF EDUCATION.

Building off best practices in innovation and coordination, we will work with partners to scale up and support efforts to ensure all youth will be rewarded with respectful livelihoods in our global economy. We will work with the UN to create opportunities to foster dialogue and ensure that global values are reflected in our curricula for all children, youth and adults.

  • MOBILIZE MASS CITIZEN ACTION FOR EDUCATION.

Through campaigns, coalitions and media, we will make education the priority of all citizens of the world, mobilizing citizen action through donations and putting pressure on governments to keep their promise.
